Mysterious break-in attempt , last night in Sassari , at Palazzo Righi .
The building, located in viale Umberto, houses the judicial police sections of the public prosecutor's office and the detached offices of the civil and criminal court .
One or more people tried to enter the building from the ground floor, breaking the window glass and damaging the shutter. It is not clear what the objective of the intrusion was, and whether the thieves were therefore aiming at the documents or the coins of the vending machines as has frequently happened in other public buildings .
However, the break-in certainly failed for reasons still unknown.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating what happened and are looking for the perpetrator or perpetrators of the gesture.
