He asked a passenger to remove the cans from the seats before getting off the bus, and was attacked with a punch in the face. A 55-year-old Arst driver ended up in hospital, beaten in via Padre Zirano, in Sassari , at the suburban bus terminus.
The general secretary of Filt Cgil Sardinia Arnaldo Boeddu gave the news and denounced the very serious act.
The union leader expresses the closeness of the entire CGIL "for the cowardly, unjustified and unjustifiable attack", which took place in broad daylight (around 12.30) at the terminus where a large number of people were present.
"An act - adds Boeddu - which adds up to those that have taken place in recent years and for which I have had to intervene several times but, given what happened today too, without result". For Boeddu, a terminus frequented every day by thousands of students, workers and tourists cannot be left without any type of supervision.
"If urgent measures were not taken - closes the secretary of the Filt CGIL - every single citizen could feel authorized to think that inside a terminus or inside a bus, a subway or a train, there is an area free from all rules".
