Sassari, anti-drug blitz at dawn: dozens of agents in action, flurry of arrests

Anti-drug blitz by the State Police, at dawn on Tuesday, in the historic center of Sassari.

Several stops and arrests were made, with checks involving both Via San Donato and the internal roads.

Dozens of police officers in riot gear were in action, with a helicopter also flying over the area at first light.

One alley in particular was checked and a manhole was opened. At least 6 people were reportedly arrested.
