Acquittal for the alleged sexual assault but a fine for the threat of spreading the videos with their intimate encounters. This is the request presented today by the prosecutor Angelo Beccu to the gup of the Court of Sassari in the shortened trial against a 37-year-old man of Romanian origin and residing in Alghero, accused by his ex-partner's 39-year-old daughter of having repeatedly raped her, threatening to show to all acquaintances the videos of their intimate relationships, recorded with a smartphone. The deputy prosecutor did not believe the story of the woman, who suffers from mental illness, to be reliable.
The complaint of the 39-year-old , assisted by the lawyer Elias Vacca, dates back to two years ago , when she told her story to the investigators. The mother's boyfriend had been kicked out of the house after being discovered by his partner in intimate attitudes with her. After moving into a trailer, the man would continue to receive visits from the 39-year-old who brought him beer and cigarettes.
He would have repaid with beating and sexual violence, filming everything with his cell phone and threatening to make the videos public. Abuses that would go on for months, before the woman found the courage to report. The hearing was adjourned to the 20th for the reply of the defense lawyer, Filippo Carta, and the sentence.
