Sassari: After three years, regional funding for hospital auxiliaries arrives.

Three years of waiting for the bonus to arrive. The hospital auxiliary category is about to receive the Covid bonus allocated by the Region in 2022. Over €339,000 will be allocated to the 310 workers at the AOU of Sassari, approximately €1,094, who had remained unemployed despite numerous requests.

This amount benefits a category of professionals employed in the fight against the pandemic emergency, on the front lines during the most complex moment and in a Turritan capital where the epidemic spread like wildfire.

"This result," the unions FP Cgil, Cisl Fisascat, and Uil FPL confirm, "respects the workers who played a decisive role in tackling the pandemic and thus defending and protecting patients." But the achievement came after three years and a battle to obtain what was due, and which now also benefits, at the regional level, the 215 auxiliary workers in Sassari and Oristano, and the 111 workers at the Nuoro Local Health Authority.
