From darkness to light in Piazza Azuni in Sassari . A week without electric lighting first alarmed the citizens and then gave rise to a dispute between members of the city council. With two contrasting versions on the reasons for the darkness, caused, as reported by Gionmaria Ventura, an exponent of "Sassari è", by an alleged breakdown in the line that occurred during the removal of the lights, requested by the firefighters because they hindered the passage of vehicles of rescue. According to Ventura, it would have been the company responsible for "unknowingly determining the damage to the public electricity line". But Giuseppe Palopoli, of Forza Italia, addresses his colleague on his Facebook page: "Yours is a great lie ... I can guarantee you that the damage resulted from damage to the uprights due to rodents".
Perhaps the reaction of Ventura, a dentist by profession, even if Palopoli assigns him the task of "building dentures", was provoked by the adviser's raids on social media - accused without naming him of "solving everything by playing on fb" - where he seems to take credit for to bring back the light. In fact, in the days preceding the blue sky the denunciation of the dark as well as the exultation for the return of normality: «Someone tells me that I'm a clown, but look here, the lights are on». In reality, he thanks "also the administration, precisely the councilor Arru", who, when interviewed, affirms: "At the moment we cannot say what caused the damage".
Certainly the lights installed by the traders will have a short life because, as the councilor for Public Works explains , "thanks to the positive opinion of the Superintendence, the lighting agreed with the Engie company will be installed in the historic center".
Meanwhile, a little less than a year from the regional and municipal ones, the frictions begin and it is expected that in the future, in addition to the electricity, nerves could also jump.
