Sassari: A woman attacked in her home shoots to attract attention; a man is arrested.

The Carabinieri arrested a man between Piazza Azuni and Vicolo Bertolinis, in Sassari .

Shortly before 1 p.m. today, December 5, the military intervened at a home in the historic center after a report of danger.

Several eyewitnesses reported that a young woman was rescued, her face swollen and her clothes torn . It is understood that the young woman was attacked and fired shots to attract attention . The Carabinieri, arriving on the scene, found the two and arrested the man, taking him to the station for questioning.

Investigations are currently underway to establish what happened.
