Sassari, a large tree branch collapses: firefighters intervene.

A large branch posed a major hazard on Viale Umberto in Sassari. It fell on three cars around noon, fortunately without injuring any pedestrians.

Using a ladder truck, firefighters lifted the branch, then sectioned it and secured it. It took the team nearly two hours to clear the affected lane.
Local police officers were on site.
