Sassari, a house fire engulfs the building, leaving two people hospitalized.

A fire broke out at 1:00 AM inside a ground-floor apartment on Via Canepa in Sassari . Two firefighting teams responded to the scene and worked extensively to prevent the damage from spreading to the entire apartment.

Two people who were inside the home were taken to the emergency room for evaluation, while the other occupants of the building were evacuated due to smoke throughout the building and were able to return to their homes after the fire was extinguished and the smoke was cleared. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
