A dramatic turn of events in Sassari in the management of the municipal sports fields on Viale Adua . The Sassari court has upheld the appeal of the Sacra Famiglia sports club , evicted by the municipality after 34 years, ordering the immediate reinstatement of the ASD , writes Judge Susanna Zanda, "to the qualified possession of the property and facilities granted on loan." She then ordered "the reduction in the amount of the repairs by removing the chain and padlock and/or all other obstacles impeding the use and enjoyment of the aforementioned sports facility, or the surrender to the ASD Sacra Famiglia of the key to the padlock holding the chain impeding access."

In August, the municipal administration terminated the contract, and shortly thereafter, Marzio Lepri won the tender for the new management . However, the managers of the Sacra Famiglia emphasized that the action was unlawful, especially since it occurred three months before the end of the contract .

The judge cites the arguments of the borrower, who, she reports, "documented how the City Council decided on August 4, 2025, to simply terminate the loan agreement, without express reason, thereby effectively ousting the borrower before the three-month notice period." The court finds that the appeal filed by the Holy Family is urgent "due to the risks associated with the loss of athletes and the need to ensure continuity of the business during the three-month notice period contractually established."

For these reasons, and given the limited time available, the City Council and Marzio Lepri are ordered to return the ASD to the court pending the in-person hearing on October 23, which may modify or revoke the order.
