On the occasion of the Sartiglia , checks were carried out by the police, the carabinieri, the financial police, the Crime Prevention Department of Sardinia, the CAIP of Abbasanta, the polfer, the 7th Flight Department, the Forestry Corps and Environmental Supervision, of Reinforcement Teams and Specialized Departments for the prevention and countering of phenomena of a terrorist nature.

On the sidelines of the demonstration, unauthorized pyrotechnic devices and explosives were seized . In particular, during a patrol in Piazza Aldo Moro, the plainclothes operators reported in flagrante delicto three young residents in the province of Oristano, found in possession of some powerful devices whose detention and ignition is prohibited without a specific license .
