A sudden blaze and then a fire that kept Saras emergency response teams busy for almost half an hour: the emergency, which began this morning around 8:30, affected the CCR plant.

The flames were contained before they could reach other operating units of the refinery, and thanks to the work of the operational staff, the situation was brought back under control before 9:00 a.m. No workers were injured during the extinguishing operations.

The company, in a statement, reconstructed the incident: "The ignition occurred at the CCR plant and affected only one production unit. To coordinate information, the provincial fire department was contacted, which was able to respond to the reports received at their headquarters. No problems were reported to people or the environment."
