The second edition of the Cte Cagliari Digital Lab Acceleration Program , a project promoted by the Municipality of Cagliari and financed by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy , kicks off today with the inaugural event at the University of Cagliari (from 4pm to 6pm).

The program, which will take place at Crea UniCa, supports eight selected Sardinian startups in the sectors of Smart City, Sustainable Mobility, Green Economy and emerging technologies , offering personalized consultancy, mentorship, co-working spaces and access to investors.

The startups involved are: ActiveLabel (smart labeling), Handy (innovative vehicle rental), Proof of Renewable (management of Carbon credits via blockchain), Wherepromo (AI for personalized offers), Experience Happiness (system for daily happiness), Icarus (home support for the sick), Ophelius (coaching to reduce burn-out) and Abigio (crowdshipping).

The kick-off meeting will open with greetings from representatives of Cte Cagliari. This will be followed by speeches by Maria Chiara Di Guardo (director of Crea UniCa and Acceleration program) and Augusto Coppola (program manager and startup and acceleration expert). The project partners will illustrate to startups the exclusive services made available to support their growth path.

The acceleration program will last four months and stands out for its systemic approach and ability to connect startups, institutions, technology partners and investors.

"Crea confirms itself as a catalyst for the development of the technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem of Sardinia. Our objective - explains Professor Di Guardo - is aimed at providing startups with the tools and skills necessary to successfully face the challenges of the market, enhancing the innovative potential of the territory. Those who want to start a business can better define their idea of service and/or product and can put it to the test, creating the first fundamental connections with the world of national and international investors".
