A maxi plan of 2.4 billion where there is a bit of everything: from the “miracle” of the four-lane Sassari-Olbia (80 kilometers in thirteen years, a record in these parts) to the Sulcitana-snail (30 kilometers not yet finished within a definitive project dated 2007). It is the “Sardinia construction site” branded Anas, with the national road spa that now more than ever seems to have put aside the role of stepmother. At least according to Antonio Piu. «The company – says the regional councilor for Public Works – is demonstrating that it has the ability to respond immediately in solving problems».

"Unfortunately, the majority - added Piu - that has governed Sardinia in the last five years had never even appointed the commissioner structure". It is internal to the Region. "There will be thirteen technicians and administrators: only thanks to the work done from April 2024 to today, we have managed to give a new impetus to the Anas Plan".

In the meantime, drivers are left to deal with the Sardinian roads . The situation on the old State Road 554 is no longer news , with commuters from the hinterland forced to travel at a walking pace every day. Endless times to travel a few kilometers, which double in the event of rain or accidents.
