In the coming weeks, the majority will have a single objective: to lay the foundations for the rebirth of a regional health system "that is in disastrous conditions". This is announced by the largest party in the coalition, the Democratic Party, which is thus taking control of the situation. It does so with a concrete proposal that the president of the Health Commission Carla Fundoni presented yesterday at the regional directorate in Oristano. A bill with urgent provisions that aim at an efficient reorganization of the system, clearly an alternative to the bill approved by the Council and set aside because it was deemed ineffective by all the parties of the center-left.

"As the majority party of Campo largo, we have the responsibility to accelerate", Fundoni said, "because a long phase of listening to the territories has revealed a tragic scenario, well beyond expectations". The Democratic proposal provides for the establishment of two single territorial companies : that of Sassari with the incorporation of the university company into the local social health company; that of Cagliari which would bring together the AoU, the Brotzu and the ASL 8. And two Vast Areas : the first including the ASL of Olbia, Nuoro and Lanusei; the second in which Oristano, Sulcis and Medio Campidano would converge.
