To carefully monitor the management of the three Sardinian airports, the Region has put in place a task force of managers, officials and experts in the sector . This is what is foreseen in a resolution approved today by the regional council on the proposal of the regional councilor for transport, Antonio Moro.

«In the light of recent events that have seen ENAC pronounce itself against the merger project into a single management company of the airports of Olbia and Alghero - explains the exponent of Giunta Solinas - it is necessary and urgent to proceed with the establishment of a interdisciplinary working group in the field of airport management, made up of industry experts and members of the competent regional structures, who together investigate the topic and perform a support and consultative, study and in-depth function".

The group of experts, assessor Moro underlines, "will also have to prepare an analysis and action document which, also with reference to the current regulatory and jurisprudential context, represents and sets out the necessary obligations and activities, with particular reference to the verification and protection of the public interests of which the Region of Sardinia is the bearer".

THE COMPONENTS - The secretary general and the director general of the Presidency of the Region and two officials designated by them, the director general of the Department of Transport, the director of the Service for maritime and air transport and territorial continuity will be part of the working group of the Department of Transport, the director of Sfirs and the manager of the sector of the subsidiaries of Sfirs. The coordinated working group, coordinated by the Transport councilor, will be supported by the regional Attorney's office.
