At least according to the ARPAS forecast. Today and tomorrow, temperatures will be generally normal for the season, with highs between 30 and 35 degrees and some cloudy periods, especially in the northern areas .

Tomorrow, for example, we'll have highs of 36 degrees in Olbia and Quartu, 35 in Cagliari, 33 in Sassari, and 31 in Alghero and Oristano. Sporadic showers are possible in Gallura, Nuoro, and Baronie, but they will quickly subside. Moderate winds from the west and southwest will strengthen in the mountains, along the coastal areas of Cagliari, Sulcis, and Gallura.

Then, starting Wednesday, high pressure will return. Temperatures will rise significantly, with peaks above 40 degrees, especially in inland areas . This trend will affect the entire country, but only for one day. Starting Thursday, thunderstorms will return to the Alpine regions, while central and southern Italy and Sardinia will remain under the influence of the subtropical anticyclone, which will continue until the end of the week.
