Sardinia has been cold in the last few hours due to a late winter slump. Snow has fallen on the main mountains, up to about 1,000 meters, and widespread precipitation has characterized the weather over the last 24 hours.

The strong mistral wind, with gusts reaching nearly 100 kilometers per hour, contributed to a significant drop in temperatures.

According to the latest readings from the Arpas system control units, the temperature dropped below zero in several locations during the night.
