Severe weather continues to grip Sardinia with relentless pressure. The regional Civil Protection Department has extended its weather alert until tomorrow , Thursday, January 29, 2026, in light of the ongoing unstable conditions affecting the island.

The bulletin , in force from 2pm today and valid until 11.59pm tomorrow , reports several critical situations related to hydraulic and hydrogeological risks, with different alert levels depending on the area.

Specifically, a yellow alert, with ordinary criticality, has been issued for flood and hydrogeological risk in the Iglesiente and Campidano areas . The level of alert has increased in some areas of central and northern Italy, where the Montevecchio Pischinappiu, Tirso, and Logudoro areas have been assigned an orange code for flood risk, accompanied by a yellow alert for flood risk .

Finally, a yellow alert for flood risk remains in place in the areas of Flumendosa, Flumineddu, and Gallura , where citizens and administrations are urged to carefully monitor the evolution of the situation.
