A storm warning has been issued for many areas of Sardinia. The Civil Protection Department's warning comes as temperatures in Sardinia hover around 30 degrees Celsius and the heat is oppressive.

The yellow criticality warning is in effect starting this afternoon for the entire island, excluding the Gallura and Sulcis regions. Tomorrow, the expected low-pressure system is expected to be more limited, affecting the Oristano area and central Sardinia.

The Municipality of Cagliari announces that as a precautionary measure, to further protect public health and safety, "the Civil Protection Department has identified the streets in the Municipality of Pirri where parking is not recommended (streets: Balilla - from Piazza Italia to Via Dandolo - and side streets; Italia; Dolianova; Sinnai; Settimo; Mara; Donori; Santorre Di Santarosa; Confalonieri; Ampere) and the safe parking area near the Terramaini municipal swimming pool on Via Pisano."

The administration invites citizens to be cautious and to follow updates on the official municipal channels.
