Enough of the dunghill. Bags everywhere, cursed garbage. Because Sardinia risks losing in the race to become the most pristine tourist destination. Rudeness, laziness, and incivility are the main enemies. However, in Sardinian cities, as well as in coastal towns, stringent waste separation regulations sometimes make matters worse. And fuel an anarchy that's beginning to become a torment.

In the increasingly frequent cases where it's unclear where to throw away one or more types of waste, tourists don't know what to do. It must be said: often they don't even have bins . Of course, as the most astute minds maintain, recycling centers exist: just go there. The truth, however, always lies somewhere in the middle: even at recycling centers, in many cities, disposal limits apply.

The result is that those who care about the environment dispose of their waste in the bins found in some public square, perhaps by chance. Those who don't have any, throw the mess away in the first available ditch on the 131 .
