Starting tomorrow, Sardinia will enter a bubble of hot African air, moved eastward by a low pressure area now positioned on the coasts of Portugal, moving towards Spain.

"From tomorrow afternoon, June 24, until the evening of Thursday 26," reads a notice from the regional civil protection, " widely high or very high maximum temperatures are expected in all internal areas of Sardinia, with peaks locally above 40-41°."

The phenomenon will affect "the southern and eastern sectors first, and will extend on Wednesday and Thursday towards the internal and northern sectors of the island".
