Another day of fire in Sardinia .
In the last few hours, the regional fire-fighting teams have intervened to tame ten fires in as many locations on the island.
The most challenging front was registered in the territory of the Municipality of Aggius. The flames affected the area of Monte Pala de Frassu and in support of the operators by land, also coming from the stations of the Forestry of Bortigiadas and Calangianus and coordinated by the Tempio Pausania station, a helicopter took off from the base of Alà dei Sardi .
The fire covered an area of about one hectare of pasture.
Also in these hours the fire devastated about 4,000 square meters of uncultivated vineyards , abandoned greenhouses and pasture in Capoterra .
In Ottana , on the other hand, another fire broke out in the photovoltaic system of the industrial area , affecting an area of about 5 hectares.
Over forty fires broke out on the island in the first four days of June , for an average of more than 10 daily alarms.
