About 45 kilos of unauthorized pyrotechnic material were seized this morning by the Carabinieri of Santadi, who searched the home of a forty-one-year-old resident of the municipality and already known to the police: he was arrested and taken to the Court of Cagliari for the validation hearing and the trial with a direct trial .

The seized material included homemade onions, paper bombs, 200-round exploding batteries, canisters and a variety of firecrackers of different types , all without the conformity and safety mark required by European Union regulations. Thanks to the intervention of the bomb disposal experts of the Provincial Command of Cagliari, the material was immediately secured and rendered inert to avoid risks for the community.
