Lying on its side, resting on the seabed 150 meters below the surface. All around, only darkness, and a natural environment that, in recent weeks, has begun to coexist with the wreck. Images of the fishing vessel "Luigino" have emerged from the waters off Santa Maria Navarrese, located in the past few hours during operations at sea. The Artabro, an EMSA offshore supply vessel, is in action , carrying personnel from the 4th Diving Unit of the Cagliari Coast Guard, engaged in the search.
The wreck was located approximately 100 meters from the point of sinking , lying on its starboard side. Life jackets are still on board, tied to the vessel. The writing on the hull is faded and damaged, but legible: "Luigino."
Mission accomplished, for now. There is still no sign of the bodies of Antonio Morlè and Enrico Piras, both from Tortolì and killed in the shipwreck of February 11th. Search operations have resumed with the 4th Coast Guard Diver Unit from Cagliari, coordinated by Unit Leader Captain Gianni Dessì.
