A day of great alarm on the fire front in the Oristano area. The most worrying fire broke out in the countryside of Santa Giusta, in an internal area near the shopping center on the outskirts of the town.

Much concern because the flames threatened some farmhouses where between dry vegetation and waste there were all the conditions for the fire to spread further. The teams of the Gauf of the Fenosu base, of the Marrubiu forestry station, two teams of Forestas of Marrubiu and Santa Giusta intervened.

The firefighting men worked for a long time to tame the flames and clean up the area, almost two hectares of crops went up in flames. At the same time the alarm was also raised in the countryside of Arborea even if here the fire was less extensive.

In the morning more fires in Siamaggiore, while on Saturday evening the flames surrounded the outskirts of Zerfaliu, near the sports field and the Tirso river. The fire broke out in an area with eucalyptus and orange groves. In the past few days over 40 hectares had gone up in smoke in the countryside of Masullas.
