Second day of pilgrimage for the statue of Saint Efisio towards the places of his martyrdom.
After leaving Cagliari – in this 370th edition characterised by the bovine dermatitis emergency and the consequent absence of the traditional ox-drawn cart , replaced first by the faithful on their shoulders and then by a van – the Warrior Martyr spent the night in Sarroch.
Then, after the mass, the procession set off again toward Villa San Pietro and then toward the Su Rondò bridge, for the handover of ceremonial responsibilities between the Alter Nos of Cagliari and the mayor of Pula . This was followed by a solemn mass in the church of San Giovanni Battista, with stops at the cemetery and in front of the small church of San Raimondo, before continuing toward Nora.
