Another migrant landing in Sant'Antioco. Thirteen young Algerians reached the seafront aboard a small boat this afternoon. After landing, the group dispersed through the streets of the town center.

Law enforcement immediately launched a search. Three migrants were stopped by police in Piazza Umberto, while two others were located on the seafront by officers from the Barracellare Company, who were conducting territorial patrol operations.

According to some witnesses, the young people, visibly distressed by the crossing, went to several local bars asking for water, drinks, and something to eat. The search continued to identify all members of the group and transfer them to the first reception center.
