A 52-year-old man, resident in Sanluri , was reported by the Carabinieri after being caught driving his car under the influence of drugs.
The check took place last night in the town center , where officers from the Sanluri station stopped the man while he was driving a Renault. During the checks, the driver showed clear signs of behavioral disturbance.
After undergoing a drug test, the driver tested positive for narcotics. For this reason, he was reported at liberty to the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of driving while under the influence of drugs.
The vehicle was seized for confiscation and handed over to the owner, while the driver's license was revoked.
