Carabinieri officers from the Sanluri Company arrested a 52-year-old man from Tuili, already known to law enforcement and subject to special surveillance with an obligation to remain in residence, because he was found outside his municipality of residence and in possession of five switchblades.

The man was stopped in Sanluri by a patrol carrying out checks with the support of colleagues from the Serramanna, Gesturi, and Nuraminis stations.

During the investigations, it emerged that the man should not have been there, while the search revealed the five knives, with blades of various sizes, ranging from 5.5 to 8 centimeters, as well as pliers and other tools suitable for offense.

All the material was immediately seized, while the 52-year-old was arrested and taken to the holding cells, awaiting his appearance before the Judge for the fast-track trial.
