He was walking through the streets of the centre of Sanluri , and as soon as he saw a patrol of the Carabinieri he tried to disappear.
A suspicious behavior that did not escape the attention of the military of the local station, who decided to subject the man, a 45 year old unemployed local, to a check.
The personal search and subsequent search of his home resulted in the discovery of over 30 grams of cocaine in his possession, a precision scale, drug packaging material, and approximately €2,000 in banknotes of various denominations believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, all of which were seized.
The man was arrested and, following the formal procedures, was placed under house arrest at his home.
