Sanluri, 36-year-old man under house arrest for growing marijuana at home

He was growing marijuana at home, which is why a man was arrested last night in Sanluri.
The Carabinieri, during a patrol, noticed the man, a 36-year-old unemployed, walking with a 42-year-old man from Villamar near the square on Via Padri Cappuccini.
The time of the meeting and the behavior of the two men immediately appeared suspicious, so the Carabinieri decided to search them: the 42-year-old was in possession of a small amount of hashish, while the 36-year-old had a precision scale in his pants. The search was then extended to the 36-year-old's home, where, inside a furnished room, they found two marijuana plants with 31 mature buds, 70 grams of hemp seeds, fertilizer, an LED lighting system, sheets and nylon wrapping, and 18 grams of drying marijuana.
After the operation, the 36-year-old made threats, earning him a charge of threatening a public official. The man was placed under house arrest, while the 42-year-old was reported to the Prefecture as a drug user.
