San Vero Milis, cyclist dies hit by a car

Fatal accident in Putzu Idu , in the municipality of San Vero Milis .

A cyclist, Stefano Cancedda, 36, an engineer originally from Cagliari but living in the province of Brescia, died following the very serious traumas he suffered after being run over by an Audi A3 at kilometer 11 on the provincial road 10. Due to the violent impact, the cyclist was thrown onto the asphalt. The driver of the car, 28 years old from Riola Sardo , immediately stopped to help him and called for help.

On the spot the carabinieri and the 118 staff who tried to revive the wounded, unfortunately without success.
