San Vero Milis, 71-year-old found with his hands tied in a warehouse: "They beat me, here for days"

Mystery in San Vero Milis. A 71-year-old was rescued in a shed in the open countryside: his hands were tied and he had been beaten.

The man was transported in red code to the hospital of San Gavino Monreale. He is not serious: he was hypothermic and had several bruises and abrasions.

He reportedly told rescuers that he had been attacked, beaten and tied up. He also said that he had been in the shed for a couple of days.

It was a neighbor who raised the alarm.

The Carabinieri intervened on site and began investigations.
