He entered the courtyard of a home armed with a kitchen knife, threatening the occupants and causing panic in the middle of the night. There were moments of terror in San Teodoro, where a man clearly in a state of mental and physical disturbance was arrested by Carabinieri from the Siniscola branch after attacking and intimidating four seasonal workers staying in the home. The alarm was raised around 1:00 a.m., when several reports arrived at 112 indicating the presence of a man in a rage on Via Tempio.

According to the police's reconstruction, the man, dressed in dark clothes and wearing a peaked cap, entered the private property brandishing a knife and making serious threats towards those present. Among the phrases reported to the Carabinieri by witnesses were: "If you don't call the Carabinieri, I'll stab someone" and "Call the Carabinieri, I'll have to get arrested." The four seasonal workers staying in the home said they didn't know the man and had been threatened for no apparent reason. One of them also allegedly suffered a physical assault, kicked in the back. Upon receiving the report, patrols from the Siniscola Company responded quickly, tracking the individual down shortly thereafter on Via Sardegna.

Upon seeing the officers, the man reportedly raised his hands, dropping a 22.5-centimeter kitchen knife and a bag containing approximately 25 grams of cocaine to the ground. A subsequent house search revealed precision scales and additional quantities of narcotics, further aggravating his situation. For these incidents, the man was arrested and charged with trespassing, aggravated menacing, battery, unjustified possession of instruments of aggression, and possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. After the arrest was validated, he was placed under house arrest in the Cagliari area. He was also issued a ban from returning to the Municipality of San Teodoro for the next two years.
