The Forestry Corps responded to a fire that broke out in San Teodoro in the Petrinieddi area between the Suaredda subdivision and La Cinta beach . The fire is currently being remediated.

To fight the flames, two Canadairs and a Super Puma helicopter intervened from above.

The fire was declared an interface fire, meaning it also threatened homes. Three firefighting teams were also on site. The blaze affected several farms and vehicles parked near the beach.

The Carabinieri ordered the evacuation of a farm as a precaution. Teams from Forestas and Barracelli also responded.
