All the sea bass and sea bream roasted on the spot yesterday evening in the small village of San Priamo (Municipality of San Vito) are gone. Six quintals of fresh fish – coming from the Feraxi lagoon – which decreed the success of the seventh edition of the “Sagra de su pisci arrustu”, now one of the most renowned events in Sarrabus. A thousand, or perhaps more, queued up and enjoyed, together with the fish, a plate of “fregula” cooked by the passionate chef Corrado Sanna (former municipal councilor of Muravera) and a good glass of white wine.
"With the Sa Pratzida and goat meat festival held on the last Saturday of July - underlines Gian Piero Cuccu, councilor for the Borgate - this is one of the main gastronomic events of the summer in San Vito. The organization was excellent and the many tourists appreciated it".
The volunteers of the Bidde Mayori association and many citizens organized the festival. Among others, Cuccu himself and his fellow councilors Stefano Scroccu and Alberto Fundoni roasted (and gave a hand on the front line). Music and dancing enlivened the evening in an atmosphere of times gone by.
