In the small Gallura town of San Pasquale , administratively divided between the municipalities of Tempio Pausania and Santa Teresa Gallura, yesterday's strong mistral wind forced the organizers of the patron saint's festival to postpone the civic events. The religious celebrations dedicated to the patron saint, however, continued as usual.

The mistral wind ruined the patronal festival of San Pasquale, a small village in Gallura, forcing the organizing committee to postpone the gastronomic and musical events scheduled for the past weekend to Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th. The weather, characterized by cold and persistent gusts, made it impossible to hold the outdoor dinners and scheduled performances. However, there were no changes to the religious calendar, which proceeded as planned, especially yesterday, dedicated to the memory of San Pasquale Baylon. The procession through the streets of the village, accompanied by the "Michele Colombano" band of Calangianus, was well-attended, as was the solemn mass that concluded the celebrations. The rites were officiated by Father Romolo Fenu, at his first patronal festival as parish priest of San Pasquale since his appointment last year. The ecclesiastical community has been part of the Pastoral Unit of Santa Teresa Gallura since 2025.

San Pasquale is a village with unique features: it has about 300 residents during the winter, a number that increases significantly in the summer, and is administratively divided between the municipalities of Tempio Pausania and Santa Teresa Gallura. This peculiarity even leads to some homes having rooms belonging to two different municipalities.
