Carabinieri officers from the Oristano Company's Operational and Mobile Unit and from the Terralba and Marrubiu stations arrested a 25-year-old man red-handed on charges of producing and possessing narcotics.

On agricultural land in San Nicolò d'Arcidano, the military identified 281 cannabis bushes already planted and under cultivation. Thanks to numerous observation services, it was possible to identify the person, a 25-year-old man, who went to the site daily to water the plants.

During the search of the 25-year-old, officers found and seized, in addition to the cannabis plants, approximately 755 grams of marijuana and 13.5 grams of hashish. All the seized narcotics will be sent to the Scientific Investigations Unit in Cagliari.

After the formal procedures were completed, the arrested man was taken to Massama.
