The Carabinieri recovered the stolen goods taken in recent days from a school in San Giovanni Suergiu and reported a man at large for receiving stolen goods.
In recent days, a theft had been committed at a local school: several computers, including one for the visually impaired, a video projector, and other IT and music equipment , with a total value of several thousand euros.
The Carabinieri of the San Giovanni Suergiu station, along with colleagues from the Operations and Radiomobile Unit of the Carbonia Company, immediately began an investigation. Surveillance footage immediately led investigators to the trail of a forty-year-old man from the surrounding area, already known to law enforcement.
The suspicions were confirmed by a search of the man's home, where officers found part of the stolen goods, which were recovered and returned to the school's management . The forty-year-old has been reported to the Judicial Authorities.
