Hours of anxiety and concern have engulfed San Gavino Monreale over the disappearance of Giuseppe Caddia, 83. The pensioner, who lives alone in the countryside near "Is Cotturas," has not been heard from for several days. For this reason, one of his granddaughters filed a missing person report with the local Carabinieri station, coordinated by Commander Ivan Melis.
At the moment, no hypothesis has been ruled out, and the 83-year-old, who previously worked as a carpenter in Turin, may have left his country home on foot, but he had neither documents nor a cell phone with him.
Giuseppe Caddia lived alone, but he usually went to the town center near Piazza Marconi, where he met several friends. It is hoped he will be found as soon as possible, and the provincial plan for searching for missing persons has also been activated.
