Samassi: Woman hit by car near bridge over Mannu River

A 75-year-old woman, Greca Segura, was hit in Samassi near the bridge over the Mannu River, at the intersection of Via Roma and Via Gobetti.

The woman was rescued by 118 personnel and transported by air ambulance to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari with a red code.

According to initial reconstructions, the driver hit her while she was crossing the street.

The 75-year-old suffered several bruises, but her condition is reportedly improving and, at this time, her life is not in danger. She remains hospitalized at Brotzu Hospital for further tests.

Investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
