«Sail for Women», the sailing race for the fight against female tumors, returns on Saturday 11th to the Golfo degli Angeli for its sixth edition. The initiative was presented this morning at Palazzo Bacaredda with the participation of the associations involved.
"We want to break the record of 100 boats, it will be spectacular," said Carlo Cottiglia, president of Avas, Offshore Sailing Owners Sardinia.
The route includes the departure from the Sella del Diavolo, the passage in front of the Lido, the Ospedale Marino, up to the Margine Rosso, and then return. It is not a competition: "We will all win, solidarity will win". For those who remain on land, excursions along the Sella are planned with guides who will teach breathing techniques.

Two stations to learn resuscitation techniques for adults and children, respectively with Croce Bianca Monserrato and Simeup, Italian Society of Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Urgency. "The organization was a feat, but I am surrounded by friends who believe in what we do," said an emotional Francesca Bruder, oncologist at Businco. "I have always been sensitive to my patients, the loss of my mother made me even more determined." And again, experts in oncological aesthetics, color harmony, a staff of nurses who will take care of blood pressure, blood sugar and saturation checks. Avis is also involved with 20 donors already booked. "Prevention is fundamental," recalled Rita Grazietti of Salute Donna Onlus.
