The Municipality of Stintino renews the "Stintino Acque Sicure" service for the 2024 summer season, confirming its commitment to the safety of swimmers and boaters along its renowned coasts.

The aquatic facility, the first of its kind in Northern Sardinia, will resume activities from 22 July 2024 and will operate throughout the summer period. The coverage area will extend from Torre della Pelosa to Ezzi Mannu, guaranteeing constant surveillance along one of the busiest and most evocative stretches of coast on the island.

For the 2024 edition, the service will make use of: a dinghy equipped for emergency response; a jet ski for quick travel and rescue; three specialized operators, equipped with aquatic rescue licenses; a dinghy equipped for emergency response; a jet ski for quick movements and rescues and three specialized operators, equipped with aquatic rescue licenses.

This initiative, the result of collaboration between the Municipality of Stintino, the Fire Brigade and the Port Authority, aims to prevent dangerous situations and guarantee timely interventions in case of emergencies related to bathing and navigation. Mayor Rita Vallebella comments: «The renewal of "Stintino Acque Sicure” for 2024 demonstrates our constant commitment to the safety of residents and tourists. After last year's success, we are pleased to be able to offer this essential service again, confirming Stintino as a destination that is not only beautiful, but also safe."
