Sunday 22 December in Mandas the last appointment with “Saboris Antigus: Christmas among the wheat paths” is celebrated, a review dedicated to good taste and craftsmanship among the most loved in Trexenta. The program includes tastings, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, stalls, displays and re-enactments. The godmother of this edition is the showgirl and actress Anna Falchi.

This is the program of the day: at 8 am the holy mass in the church of Santa Vitalia; at 9 am departure from the station of Monserrato of Su trenu de is Saboris Antigus, upon arrival in Mandas welcome at the train station and visit to the Breda locomotive, the bust of Lawrence, the monumental plant in the adjacent grove and the statue of Gigi Riva; at 9.30 am in the historic center the opening of the event; at 9.45 am in the town hall opening of the exhibition "Militaria" curated by the association "Cavalieri dell'antica locanda" of Gianni Cannas, with the greeting of the ducal arquebusiers, followed by departure of the procession of the Ducal Court and arrival in the medieval compendium of Sant'Antonio, arrangement of the cippus, the cage of the condemned and the insignia of ducal justice ("Ancu ti currat sa giustizia").

From 10 am, traveling performances by the Launeddas del Sinis association and the Sonus Insulae Sardinia cultural association of Villaputzu. From 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 5 pm, the opening of Santa Claus's House in via Cagliari by the Kreos Association; in Monte Granatico and in via Roma, fresh pasta and traditional recipe workshops with tastings by the Pro Loco of Mandas and the Acli. From 10.30 am, in the former Palazzo Ducale, the minting of ancient coins by the Balestrieri of Iglesias; the medieval procession with crossbowmen and musicians; in the afternoon, crossbow shooting exhibition.

From 11 am, entertainment and animation for children in Piazza 150 Unità d'Italia; at 11 am in Piazza IV Novembre the exhibition "Xilografia: dall'incisione alla stampa a mano", curated by Nicolino Sirigu; at 11.15 am in the medieval compendium Sant'Antonio the second edition of sa Murra de is pipius, curated by Davide Perra and Cristian Spano; at 11.30 am in Piazza IV Novembre performance by students of the Civic School of Mandas "Luigi Boccherini"; at 11.45 am in the medieval compendium the Contus antigus "Fogu, fogu" curated by the association "Cavalieri dell'antica locanda" of Gianni Cannas. A very important appointment at 12.15 pm, in the conference room of the library, where the award ceremony of the third edition of the La Spiga d'oro Prize will be held to Sergio Zuncheddu, editor of L'Unione Sarda.

After the lunch break (at 1 pm in Monte Granatico the Pro loco proposes Su Prangiu de Is Antigus) the event continues with the taste laboratories, tastings, entertainment for the little ones, music with the Kantidos band and the extraordinary participation of Anna Falchi, the Christmas Novena and the fireworks display. During the day guided tours in the historic Garau Dairy and demonstration of Su casu a s'antiga, the traditional cheese making by the shepherds of Mandas and demonstration of the nougat making.
