A man was traveling along the 292 state road on his bike when in a downhill stretch, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he skidded and ended up against the guard rail . Jolted off the bike, he ended up on the asphalt hitting his head violently.
The other motorists gave the alarm and the cyclist was transported by the 118 doctors with the helicopter rescue to the hospital in Sassari in a coma .
The carabinieri are taking care of the findings and tracing the personal details of the injured person, who had no documents with him. The involvement of other means in the incident is currently excluded .
