Arrested after two years on charges of having participated in a robbery carried out in the center of Cagliari together with two accomplices: the police snapped the handcuffs on the wrists of an Algerian who had acted with a compatriot and an Italian.

The three had attacked and robbed a man of his wallet. Two of the perpetrators had been arrested red-handed by the Flying Squad officers who had immediately intervened on the spot, while the Algerian had disappeared without a trace.

Two days ago, during a territorial control service, the suspect was tracked down by the Hawks of the Flying Squad in Piazza del Carmine. The officers recognized him and immediately stopped him, proceeding to notify the order and transfer him to prison.
