After witnessing a robbery, he didn't think twice and started chasing the car with the two criminals on board. It happened in San Sperate where yesterday evening, around 7.40 pm, a man of African origin, with a distorted face and armed with a scacciacani without a charger, entered the Pusceddu pharmacy and had the proceeds of 500 euros delivered. Then he got out and fled in a car driven by an accomplice.
A citizen, who had seen everything from outside the shop, got into his car and began to follow them in telephone contact with the carabinieri.
At a certain point, however, the two criminals split up, the perpetrator of the raid got out of the car and the citizen, having to make a choice, continued to follow that car up to Monserrato, where the military patrols arrived from Quartu and from Cagliari, who blocked the Ford Fiesta in via Seneca. At the wheel was a 49-year-old from Settimo San Pietro and in the cockpit the magazine of the scacciacani pistol used for the shot, as well as some elements that could soon make it possible to identify the material author of the robbery.
