Anas has begun the final phase of modernization work on the section of State Road 131 between Nuraminis and Serrenti.

To allow for the work, starting Wednesday, July 23, traffic heading towards Cagliari will be diverted at approximately kilometer 32, via the slip road, onto a newly constructed carriageway temporarily constructed. It will then reconnect with the 131 at kilometer 27, immediately after the Nuraminis overpass, via a connecting road. The diversion eliminates the Samatzai at-grade intersection (at km 28.500), which is added to the nearby Villagreca intersection, which was previously eliminated.

The measure provides for the reopening of the Serramanna provincial road, allowing exits and re-entries onto the 131 route towards Cagliari.

The Nuraminis overpass remains closed for completion. This work requires the creation of a bypass on the Sassari-bound carriageway near the overpass to allow for the installation of the beams and the construction of the slab, as well as the connection between the current axis and the alternative section.

High-visibility signage has been installed along the temporary route, especially in the sections connecting and reconnecting to the main and secondary roads.
