The Automobile Club Cagliari, the oldest in Sardinia, celebrates its centenary and renews its board, albeit with a focus on continuity.

Founded in 1926 , the association has established itself over the years as an important reality in the regional motoring scene, managing to guarantee a perfect balance between initiatives to enhance historic motoring, road safety and motorsports.

The renewal of the Board of Directors for the four-year period 2026-2030 saw the election of Antonello Fiori, Salvatore Lobina, Alessandro Pau, Ugo Lorenzo Loi, and Federico Onnis Cugia. The Board of Auditors, composed of Monia Ibba and Riccardo Gaia, was also elected.

"We are happy to continue our mandate, during which we will follow up on all the activities and projects already started over the last four years," declared Antonello Fiori , president of the Automobile Club Cagliari and the ACI Sardinia Regional Committee.

"Certainly, these have been intense years. Relaunching the Authority, restructuring it, and restoring its role within the provincial institutions has been a long and significant journey. We have several initiatives and collaborations planned with various institutions, both related to road safety and for the Mob-Com project on mobility and industrial research. We have sought to reintegrate motorsports and the recreational activities promoted by the Authority, offering a variety of projects. The four members of the Board of Directors have been reappointed, and we have a new addition for special categories, Federico Onnis Cugia. We will strive to reaffirm the activities the Authority is supposed to promote and the institutional role it deserves."
